1 - Indirect Anterior Restorations – Veneers and Crowns
Designing indirect anterior restorations with optimum esthetics requires correct treatment planning, evaluation of a suitable ceramic material, and skillful application and precize techniques. This presentation will feature the materials and clinical indications for use of conservative (minimal or no-preparation) techniques for anterior bonded porcelain restorations, clinical indications for more aggressive porcelain veneer situations where mostly dentin is exposed, and clinical situations and materials when a crown is indicated. Covered will be specific guidelines for all types of veneer preparations and high strength and crown and PFM preparations. Cementation materials and techniques will also be detailed. What is the material selection for coping and ceramic? And what is the ideal coping thickness? Illustrations and clinical cases will be used throughout for obtaining esthetic and durable results in the anterior zone with indirect restorations.
2 - Digital Photography
This 113 minute lecture addresses how photography can improve your clinical dentistry and allow for clearer communication with patients and/or your lab technician. An overview of 35mm slide and digital camera systems and components will be discussed. Emphasis will be on digital systems and the views necessary to diagnosis and treatment plan your smile enhancement procedures. Highlighted will be the twelve views recommended by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry that will allow for accurate and complete diagnosis, design, and critique of your cosmetic enhancement procedures.

3 - Implant Aesthetics
Does implant therapy mean a compromise in aesthetic outcome? Learn how a good team, surgical template, long term prototypes and soft and hard tissue biology are imperative to gain an ideal aesthetic outcome.
4 - Surface Finishing and Polishing
Learn the relationship between surface finish and age. How to create texture and anatomy in porcelain and composite.
5 - Restoration of Endontically Treated Teeth
Do all endodontically treated teeth need a post and core? Do they need a crown? What are the indications for a post and cores? Post options? Core materials?
6 - Provisionalization of Indirect Restorations
Learn how to prototype restorations aid in case design, laboratory communication and a predictable outcome. Material selection for anterior versus posterior cases. Five veneer prototype techniques will be discussed.
7 - Direct to Indirect Restorations
When is it advisable to go from direct to indirect for posterior resorations? How does material selection, tooth integrity and occlusion play into his decision-making process.
8 - Indirect Posterior Restorations
When is an inlay an ideal option versus a crown for posterior restorations. When can a veromer be used versus an all-ceramic restoration. Material selection. Preparation design.
9 - Direct Anterior Composite Restorations
An evaluation of the various composite materials and why one might be chosen over another in various situations. Illustrations and clinical cases will be shown in how to layer composite to build polychromicity, incisal effect and incisal halo. What is meant by seamless restorations?
10 -Direct Posterior Restorations
An evaluation of the various composite materials and why one might be chosen over another in various clinical situations. Matrix selection for ideal interproximal contact and contour. Is a rubber dam necessary?
11 -Adhesive Dentistry
Learn the latest classification systems in adhesive dentistry. What are the advantages and disadvantages of a total etch verses self etch system. And how do these chemical differences play into their useage and technique.
12 -Smile Design
